Special Art Announcement From Carrie Jackson Studios

Carrie Jackson Studios is excited to reveal a very special side of Carrie’s art with her all of her art fans and friends alike. Carrie would like to officially introduce her line of sculptures and 3D artwork!

Carrie Jackson’s sculptures hands down are quite visually entertaining. Carrie’s first series of experimental sculptures include some fascinating mixed mediums like coral, peacock feathers and metal. Each piece in Carrie Jackson’s line of sculptures is unique, highly decorative and hand painted by Carrie Jackson. Some of the interesting new works in Carrie’s molded line of art include an ornately sculpted clay clock, pen & pencil holders and bottle stoppers. Carrie Jackson has captured a look all her own through her sculptures, which definitely still carry her tradem…

Introducing "Painted Fancy" Hand Painted Jewelry & Gifts @ Etsy!

I am excited to officially introduce Painted Fancy a new creative endeavor and line of hand painted, custom made and vintage styled jewelry and unique gifts!

It’s new and yet not, since I have been painting little things, gifts, ornaments, greeting cards and making my own jewelry since around seven years old. I truly enjoy miniature painting, which is challenging and yet rewarding and I simply love jewelry, so Painted Fancy is a perfect combination of both of these passions.
I’ll have to say that it’s my Mother who really inspired this launch. I love to create special painted gifts for her; especially jewelry and over the years she has been receiving more and more compliments on the painted jewelry I created for her, which then turned into requests for jewelry and a dem…

The "Tale" Of Grimm's Faerie Cinderella

I was recently interviewed about my piece “Grimm’s Faerie Cinderella” by an art student, and since I have actually been asked quite a few questions by different inquisitive minds regarding this piece recently, I thought I would share a little more information about what went into the making of Grimm’s Faerie Cinderella with those of you interested in knowing more about it and my musings on faeries, fairytales and of course…Cinderella! I enjoyed answering these questions and retelling a bit of the story that went into creating Grimm’s Faerie Cinderella. (Good luck Emily!)

Q. What were your main inspirations for ’Grimm’s Faerie Cinderella’? “I initially created Grimm’s Faerie Cinderella for an art contest that was being held by an online art group that I…

Christmas Joy & New Year Excitment

I hope this Christmas found you and left you with much joy along with the excitement of a New Year!
A special “Thanks” to each an every one of you who purchased my artwork and apparel for Christmas gifts for your loved ones this year! Thank you to all who purchased my “New Years” greeting cards and I trust everyone had a safe and exciting New Years!

There was much for me to be happy for this year as it was my first year back in California and I was able to celebrate with family that I haven’t been able to with in a while. The weather alone was a Christmas gift for me; it was clear and 75 degrees, a Holiday paradise! While it wasn’t a White Christmas it was indeed a Bright Christmas, (literally…I needed sunglasses!)

I simply love everything about Christmas. Decorating the tree, the incr…
