Natural Love

As I was on a nature walk, I saw all of these little leaves and they all looked like little hearts, so I collected some and shot them all over the gravel path I was walking on. Then all of the sticks seamed to curve and look like hearts too! I arranged the sticks and leaves and smiled as it was a beautiful heart against the rocks. Could it be that it was days before Valentines Day that my heart and mind were so inspired? Perhaps…
Well then the “Natural Love” card was born. (Of course I was also listening to French love songs while I was creating it..:)
I believe they are perfect for any occasion you want to express love….

It`s funny…when i used to visit my sis for a bar-b-q or something…i`d spend more time playing in the sandpit with my nephew than talking to the grown ups…
something pure about playing in the dirt :)

absolutely brilliant, how did i miss this one? when i was in brasil i lived on a beach called massagua cu, one day i did images in the sand and added palm leaves coconuts bark what ever pieces of nature was laft around, then over the next couple of days i checked the sites where the sand creations were to see and judge by the way the footprints were left around the pieces, it was amazing all the feet walked around and around the art but none disturbed them, i wish i had a camera at the time but i didnt, at another time i did but unfortunately they are not with me now, i love working organic art out doors, your creation here is just incredible, great creative day for you, gallo
Carrie Glenn replied 20 days ago
:D Thank you VERY much Gallo! Haha…well it happens to the best of us. Nice, that sounds very organic and creatively satisfying. I know what you mean…in this same series I spelled out “Love” with pine cones in the woods on a stump and for months no one touched it. Even when the city came in to do trimming in the woods they left that one stump alone. It meant a lot to me and was an experience. I think that is the beauty of it…that you create an experience with others. Thank you so much for your comment and it means a lot to me that you understand the “heart” of my work. ;)
