Africian Plains

Acrylic And Pastel On Glass
Sold, $1200
This original abstract was inspired by the warm colors of the African plains, imagine as the bright orange sun is setting on the golden grass fields, the animals (represented in total abstract by the white squares) are coming in from the watering holes (represented by the dark space) for the night. Let your imagination run wild from the colors portrayed here to images and stories of Africa itself.

picketty
Yep this is the kinda thing I like. why do you paint on glass?
Carrie Glenn replied
Hello Picketty…thanks so much glad you like it. Well you should try it in that case…lol. For this particular piece I wanted a clean strong look and the texture to pop! When you paint on glass, (since it doesn’t absorb) the paint lays and you can build up fabulous texture. Have a great day!
