This is great. I love the detail and how it draws you into the piece. Its hard to look away. Great job and I can only hope to be half as good as you are with those mediums.

Coming back for another look, I recall a radio serial Vincent Price did for the BBC with Peter Cushing. Unfortunately it’s 30 years since I heard it and most of the details escape me, but we never missed an episode. Hearing these two old masters of horror working together was a treat!

Oh wow, I would have LOVED to hear that show and those two together. I’ll have to search that online maybe I can find some audio from that…

At first I did not recognize him, but yes, yes it is him! Edward Scissorshands was his last movie. I love him sooo much! He went to high school in my city, I have his gorgeous cook book. Your high regard of him shows throughout this piece. Even at his advanced stage of age, you lovingly crafted him into this magnificent artwork! Sorry for the length of this, but we do share a love of the late magnificent Vincent Price!!

A stunning portait! Precise and meticulous in every detail. Expresses Vincent’s quirky character so well. I remember him in ‘The Pit and Pendulum’! There’s been no one quite like him since unless we can add Jack Nicholson to the genre!! Brilliant artwork!

This is brilliant work! Vincent price, you pick some very talented, yet often over looked figures to portray in your work. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a portrait done in this way of this man.
The tones, and detail is truly amazing! You capture the essence of your subject in such lifelike
detail that leaves the viewer in awe. Nice job Carrie!
I noticed this shot yesterday, and felt inspired by it. So today I went out and captured a portrait of an elderly gentleman who resembles Mr. Price a little. Different, but similar. I’ll upload it soon. Let me know what you think.
