This is an interesting piece. It has a rugged, yet classic victorian feel to it. The colors are done very well, and the blue tint adds a nice touch to the image. Again, as all your work, it has such fine detail, and many points of interest. The picture, inside of a picture, of this picture really is a unique focal point in itself. My only critique would be that the main subject, the woman, is very close to the center of the image. But in this particular image, I don’t think it detracts from the image as a whole, as it does in some cases. I think the parrot balances that, and allows the eye to take in, and appreciate the mood, and depth of this image. This is really fine work Carrie!
I enjoy looking deep into your images, and appreciate the hard work you put into them.
You are a true asset to this community, and I’m very proud to be your friend.
I can tell your artwork is bridging the gaps of international peace.
