Having seen my grandfather’s pictures, I knew I wanted to take great photos. He used time and patience to teach me the basics. I can still hear him saying “keep it simple, not too busy”. I’ve recently had more time to pursue this hobby and digital is great. For many years I used a Canon Elan IIE with Fuji Velvia. Now most of my pictures are taken with a Rebel XTi. I lived in Europe for a few years and that was a great place to take photos (wish I had a digital camera then). I live in Colorado Springs which is full of and surrounded by great photo opportunities. I really like trying to catch calm, serene images. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
