I thought it would be nice to show you a bit of my workspace and what I do there :-)
There will be more in later blogs, but let us start with this commission I did in late spring.

Wow Corrie, I’d love to see and hear more about how and where you work … can’t believe you produce so many gorgeous illustrations on your kitchen table!! :D Wonderful!

It’s great fun to show this in collaboration with the RB art and clothing collection. You can glance over my shoulder and get a better understandig of how stuff is created. I do a similar thing on my normal blog

Corrie I love this. It’s great to see how artist’s work. It really shows you that every artist is individual in the approach to creating art and the end product they produce. I love your set of drawers with all your paints and other stuff! Love the work you produce, it really shows you enjoy making it!!

My atelier of the moment is my kitchen table. We don’t eat there anymore (as you can imagene seeing all the clutter). Since I started painting (15 years ago) I worked from various locations. I don’t need a lot of space – a couple of square meters and a table and I’m happy. I went from the utility room at my mom’s house to a proper atelier in the inner city, then next door to a bigger place and then out of the centre of town to the suburbs were we are now.
This is a pic of my table before I had my handy set of drawers. I like the drawers (they have wheels like a trolly) so I can put my paints away when I need the space for illustrating.
