if you really want to challenge yourself, relax and enjoy doing what you love …photography
get yourself in a comfortable position, level up with a good burning fire (controled of course)
then allow your eye to wander, not concentrating on anything other then what is in the fire. as you look Into the fire, find something interesting, and then attempt to time it just right to hit that button as the flames flicker all around.
a really cool challenge to hone your skills, an awesome way to relax and get back in touch with your camera
this piece of wood curling as it burnt just fascinated me for some reason.
im ready to go camping again!

Yea! Awesome! I love fire a ton, that was one of my favorite things about camping. I used to make propane balloons and even caught myself on fire once. Panic kills, it’s all about staying calm.

ooh YES! Beautiful! I love doing just this, though in our case, it is often a logfire or bonfire that we can sit near and watch the “magic” happening….. Love the composition of your image…… rich and bright!
