This was shot during our Christmas parade we had here in Townsend this past Sunday.
If I am not mistaken some of the troops that rode in the parade were part of the 278th that just got called out to go overseas.
Even tho we might not agree with the war(s) going on. We still have to appreciate what the men and women are willing to do for us all. How their families are giving them up during one of the most emotional times of the year, around Christmas.
Our parade this year had a very patriotic theme to it since a lot of the soliders are from this area that are heading overseas.
So please, remember those who are doing their best to keep us all safe, whether we agree with the reasons they are sent there or not, they are just doing their job.
Thanks to all the men and women who are willing to give their life for those of us you dont even know.
Thanks to their families.

The photo says it all Chris. Your words ring true. You know that image might be wanted by the local newspaper so someone can add it to a brief story about the parade. It’s not too late. I would want it if I were the owner of a newspaper.
thanks adam, didnt even think about the paper, might be too late tho since it was two days ago
