After a unplanned four mile hike, I was greeted with this waterfall. It’s from the Greenbriar side of the Great Smoky Mountains in east TN.

wonderful , moving shot of a waterfall!
thanks so much everyone for checking this out..that hike was something else!! especially since i didnt prepare myself for it! lol did turn out to be worthwhile tho, along w/ getting to see a beautiful cascade..i picked up a professional photog gig off of it…lol so worked out great in two ways :)
nice shot. this hike is extremely hard. it is also known for bear activity. the last time my buddy and I hiked it we saw three black bears. This fall is definitely worth the hike, but is one of the hardest falls to take. this seems to be the favored spot to get or possibly the only place to stand in order to get a nice shot. definitely had a lot of water when you took this. oh yeah, don’t plan on hiking this if you’ve only had about an hour’s worth of sleep, it is only more difficult.
