want to adopt a orphan?
As many of you who have read my previous journals know I am with a few other huge hearted photographers and artists, donating the proceeds from sales from our work at the wildlife-appeal
The agency we are helping, the Wildlife Rescue and Protection Inc (WRAP), has some animals that need to be “adopted”
The caregivers (carers) that are trying to help these animals with the injuries they sustained from the bushfires that raged thru Victoria and surrounding areas. I have been emailing with Racheal on how we can help get these animals adopted. Right now there are only 6 left, but she did state there will be more to come.
This is how it would work. As with any sponsorship with children, zoo animals, and pets, you would recieve a certificate of adoption, updates, and photos every three months.
If you cant do this yourself, I cant plead with you enough to pass this on, eventually there will be someone that can help out with the animal survivors of Black Saturday. For those of you already involved with adoption programs, please pass this on to your friends and everyone else. I will be contacting local businesses and some schools in my area to see if they would like to adopt one of these amazing animals, you can do the same.

Chris, you’re a wonderful man!! I can’t afford to ‘buy’ one of these babies on my own, but I could probably get together with a few other people to raise enough to sponsor one – how can I do this? Journal for other Bubblers to join in with me? No-one’s looking much at my stuff at the moment, so I’m not sure if this would work. Have a think, BM me if you’ve got any ideas???

Thanks so much Denzil, I think its this way all around the bubble unfortunately, you could journal or better yet, reach outside the bubble with friends at home, and the response to journals lately have been very poor, well unless you’re bragging about being featured….lol If you have myspace or facebook, ask on there, might be a few interested in helping. I know all about not being able to do one myself, wish i could! thanks for even wanting to try, and responding about it :)

Ha! Even boasting about being featured (as I did recently) attracted only 3 views! Thanks for the suggestions, I will indeed ask around here at home. I am on facebook, but haven’t yet actually worked out how to do stuff …:)

yea im on facebook also, i didnt see your journal, well as far as ive gone back on activity monitor..wonder what is going on w/ Rb, i still say some journals arent coming thru!!
