back from a week w/ great friends, great times and great food :)

well im back from spending one of the greatest weeks of my life. having the opportunity for hanging out with marianne venegoni, sally stacey, judy howle, wanda faircloth, gladys faircloth and joe howle. :)
there’s nothing like sitting around the table w/ your friends eating some killer homemade food , i can still taste that baked ham, and will crave more of that banana pudding :)
last week was the week of the spring get together, and i really hate it for those who couldnt make it, you missed a great time!
we got a early morning sunrise into the smokies over townsend, got to see 8 bear (but who was counting? heh), shooting native wildflowers, checking out the rural areas…talk about the best of both worlds
id like to thank you all for coming in and creating 1 of the most awesome weeks of my life! i couldnt ask for a better group of people to hang out with and im honored to be able to call you Family!
the hardest part was having to say bye, geez i hate that part. it just seemed like the week didnt last long enough!!
i cant wait til we are able to gettogether again!!! and im hoping that those who didnt make this trip, can make the next!! you will Love the group of people i had the priviledge of hanging out with
so im back folks!! give me sometime to play ketchup on all your wonderful work!

i’m jealous….but i did get some work done here. i am watching a rose-breasted grosbeak outside my window. our windows reflect and i think he may just fly into it again for the 2nd time today . there is also a cardinal another grosbeak, a Tufted Titmouse, a couple of others… we are expecting storms so they are stocking up!

thanks B :) ya know if you’re ever in this neck of the woods you must look me up. we had a blast talking about exposures, SS’s, and whatever else came to mind! lol i think i gained a few pounds tho! shhhhh :)

then i wont tell ya about the homemade slaw, or the homemade cheesecake :) and i did have a wonderful time, hated seeing them go ..i sure do miss em all!!! next get together you should join us :)

It was great! I had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!I learned so much. And some of it was just some tricks or tips to save time and not be without your gear,lol!! My extra card and battery are now within easy reach.I hope I never get caught shotting a beautiful animal and the battery dies again!! I wish I could have stayed longer,I love the smokies and Chris was an awesome host. I’ve never seen a person try so hard to please everyone. Chris thanks a million for all you did !

Just wanted to thank you Chris for showing us a great time! No one will ever know how hard you try to make everyone comfortable and find the best places to shoot. We had a ball, loved the bears, deer and sunrises, most of all the old barns and horses..can’t wait till next time.

Wow! Hate that I missed that. Things have been busy here – wedding plans, beginning to renovate my house so it will sell, add a room onto Angie’s house to make it a bit more liveable for a while, work, etc. We’ll be back in Brevard in October for Honeymoon. Might be able to drive to the other side of the Smokies for a day. I got a wireless network set up at Angie’s place this weekend, so it should be easier to check RB on the weekends now.
