its great nature shot i started my didgital images with a kodak easy share too.

wow ! the water is incredibly well captured – love the differences across the water – that perfect little waterfall, the rushing flow, the quieter bits, the little trickles! beautifu!l and the bend just takes you in and around the lovely foliage! great work as you were obviously doing something right ! would love to know your settings for this ….:)

I love the contrast of the leaves and the water. I love autumn and I would camp by here happily for the rest of my life if I could! [I guess I’m a secret hermit! lol]
Why don’t you photographers offer jigsaws of your work? Push RB to investigate the possibilities! This would be a challenge and a half as a 5000 piece one! Can you imagine all those leaves and that same water!

Great water shot-one of my favorite subjects.I too suffered through a dx6490.It sits here on my desk collecting dust.

What was that?
The gentle rustle
of the leaves as the mountain breeze sweeps by
No something else
The continuous rushing
of the water smoothing over rocks
No no the other thing
The call of the hawk
and his winged friends as they settle in their nests?
No…
… the silence of peace

That is my interpretation … hope you like :o)

i like the description to already perfect composition image/...there is nothing worst but seeing image NO TITLE and no description…RB should force that when uploading that u cant save the image unless has a title and description….sometime i dont even know what i am looking at…specialy if it is out of focus or completely destroyed in PS…lol…I respect your work giving the great intro….nice scene and view…awsome image…

I too have this Kodak, and ever so often I will bring it out and shoot with it… Chris, it is the photographer, much more than the camera.

Some of my very best photos came with my Kodak. I however shoot with the Nikon, most of the time.

Nice work Chris, great composition, i noticed from your profile that you don’t use photoshop, i reckon you should just to get a bit more saturation and a finer colour balance, you will be surprised how a picture “pops” when the colour balance is spot on. I’m being instructively critical only because I want you to try it and experiment with the results,, I myself try not to use photoshop too much because I too am a purist, but Photoshop does allow you to make a pic more like how you saw it in your minds eye and can help overcome some of the shortcomings of our equipment.
