Shooting in Cades Cove with Mike back in Feb of 2009
I had been jealous of Snowhog’s snow she had been getting all year ( wouldnt surprize me if she is Still getting snow! grrrr) while it was passing my area, and we might get alittle to tease us.

But while Mike and I were out shooting in the cove, grabbing all we could of the snow while it was here. I had promised Snowhog a snowman IF I ever got the chance to make one. So while Mike is shooting, I start grabbing some snow together, finding little pebbles that would Stay to create the face, and a few twigs that were sturdy enough to create the arms (had to keep it authentic to the area ya know). Hands frozen since the type of snow we had, stuck to my gloves. At one time I had more snow on my gloves then I did for the snowman.

So here ya go snowhog, your snowman from the Great Smoky Mountains (literally) :)

    LOL was trying! it was cold, snow compacted quickly and the dam rocks kept coming out! LOL thanks franklin..lol

    oh what a painstaking little fellow he is too! His mouth seems to be grimacing…...maybe your hands were just a bit too rough on him…or even too hot! LOL
    Anyway, seriously, it’s a great snowman, considering I have never seen one in my life before!!!

    LOL wendy! yea he was painstaking, was ready to turn his ass into a snowball! lol it was a quickie snowman! (hence the reason he’s alone) he aint that great, but he is one (short one) wasnt my fault his head was skrinking but his mouth wasnt! lol

    lol thanks jan, dont know about masterpiece, by the time i got this guy well enuf to shoot, he had been put thru the ringer some.lol
    yea..the hat was my fav! lol even tho, tried to fall off while trying to re-set the eyes and mouth..Again! lol

    lmao tony!! they were Stones, well pebbles, had to get something i could grasp, but then not too big? lol wonder how the animals felt when they saw it! lol

    lol thanks angel, glad it cracked you up :) i was cracking up trying to make him, im sure mike was also! lol we didnt have that much which isnt good :( Snowhog got it all this year! lol

    no you were busy trying to figure out why that camera you were using was set so high on lighting! LOL i still feel guilty i forgot to tell you the ISO was on 3200!! LMAO!
