Looks soooo cold. Gorgeous. Would love to be there…all rugged up of course. I love the way the tree dip together in the middle of the stream. Also, thanks for your comment on Pink and Grey.

I really love this one Chris.
Living where I live I very rarely get to experience this sort of scenery.
Keep it up and I may just come visit one day.

Great image, beautifully captured. I find it very remarkable when the snow and light cause color to look B&W!

Thanks so much for your comment on my mountain laurel. I enjoy using Mother Nature’s lighting. Guess we are almost “neighors”. I have yet to get a good snow picture (been back to this area for about 5 years). My timing is always off. This is gorgeous. I love the softness of your photography, and some of your subject matter is so interesting – the little things that come to life through the lens.

Sigh I miss the snow. Really like this shot as well. Definitely like the added water to this one. I think it makes it more dramatic. Awesome job!

That’s what I meant. I’ve seen snow scenes like this where I knew that the only way to get the right black and white look was to use color film to get all the right tones and they were just the way I wanted them right out of the camera. Actually, none of this matters…the thing is that it’s a fantastick image even amongst your entire gallery of fantastick images.

Somehow, I had missed seeing this image in your gallery. Beautiful!
