Wonderful capture of a dedicated fisherman, I do believe when the fish see the raindrops on the water, they think they are flies and rise up, I have heard other fishermen say it is best to fish in the rain. Gorgeous imagery and colour, wonderful place.

Just such a wonderful shot, Christopher – I love to watch fly fishermen at this art though I can’t do it for beans myself – lol -but you’ve captured this so beautifully. What a lovely, restful spot, rain or no rain, to spend a day – and there’s no place lovelier to do it than in the Smokies. Really lovely composition – it would make a marvelous painting!

I love fishing in the rain, I am not lucky enough to get to fish in such a great spot however. Really ilke the dark quality and the color is great.
