is the coast clear mom?

after marianne spotted mama bear in the field, we were watching her and her two cubs trying to get across the road. there was some woman in the traffic that started blowing her horn and screaming something on the top of her lungs
this one cub was the last to come out of the woods, as it heard the woman screaming, it shot back into the woods
we later caught up w/ this family just alittle ways down, knowing they would reappear once all the traffic was gone. still dont know what made this woman blow horn and holler, i guess some folks dont know how to act around wildlife when in their habitat

good shot Chris! We have the same problem here. People just don’t understand us photogs! LOL I have pulled off the road to take photos only to have the vehicle behind me blowing the horn. I guess they think that the wildlife will associate the horn with a vehicle and stay away from the highways. Problem with that theory is the bear will go where and when it needs to go to get food. Too much constrution has gone up around here taking away their natural habitat.

Road rage against a bear, yeah that makes sense (rolling my eyes here). I would have pulled over with or without my camera just to watch such beautiful creatures. They are to be respected and are amazing to watch. Fantastic job capturing this cutie Chris!
