another photog friend and i, had the wonderful opportunity of being the only two around, while this cub was going from tree to tree looking for food, shot this early thursday morning, so awesome to be around these animals

always have to be safe :) if you look on my journal, ive given some tips of photographing these guys, totally awesome experience if one does it right :) and thanks so much for the comment :) id say my friend and i were about 40-50 foot from this little guy, my friend learnt the hard way about not bringing extra batteries also! lol he had to go back and get another, meanwhile im hanging out w/ this guy, well aware of us being around

lol no i wont, i know when to stay back and when its ok :) its so awesome getting close to these animals. dont worry they grunt or pop their jowls when they have had enough of you following..lol

Superb! My husband and I spent last week there! We found or rather came up on a black bear all alone just on the edge of town! I got a few shots but just the experience was sooooooo amazing and such an awesome high! I can’t wait to to back!!!
