a view into the foggy mountains

a view into the foggy mountains

this was taken off sparks lane in cades cove, located in the great smoky mountains. sparks lane is my favorite road to go down when im in the cove. the past few months the lane was closed due to a freak spring that came up in the middle of it.
on this day, it was tripod city, so many photogs had just stopped at the gate that blocked the road, and shot from there. guess they didnt realize the true gem right down the road across the creek, something well worth walking thru to get to the other side.
after dodging their cameras walking in the field to get down the road. this is the reward i got after i crossed that creek

LOLOL.. did you have to fight for space Christopher?? I hate when everyone has the same idea when all we want is to enjoy the scene, drink it all in while getting awesome photos such as this one..

what amazed me, was out of all the photogs there lining up there shot, one of the ladies that was with them, warned me about getting in front of them, i told her if they had any sense they would get a shot of a photog getting a shot. a story telling a story! and they say they are pros! Ha! lol on this scene, i was all by myself
