Kool-Aid

Yesterday I drank in your love

It quenched my thirst for that time

Till the next time I drank in your sweet suga wine

Tried to wipe your stain from my mouth

Remove it from my face, but bonded were we

Light in complexion was I and red stain #3 was she

I was introduced to a new juice and Cherry was her name

From that day forward I wasn’t the same

Because she had kissed my lips

A trademark was she, ghetto bound to be

And that was my first experience of cultures crossing over

And now… now I think I love her
