I’m an Aussie chick living in the Hokkaido, Japan (the North). I am currently teaching English as a foreign language to children and adults. I am loving life here and the location and I hope this adventure will inspire more photography.
I am interested in different types of photography including self portrait, photo documentary, fashion, portraiture, commercial publicity photography as well as the more conceptual and artistic stuff. I commonly use a Nikon D40x Digital SLR but also experiment with Medium Format, Plastic Toy Cameras, Analogue and occasionally Polaroid.
I love shooting people who have their own path and story and don’t want to be photographed purely to look ‘beautiful’ but to record something special about themselves, whatever that may be. This process is trully rewarding.
