This is darling Chloe in 2003 on her first day in her new home with me, where she stayed in the bathroom for her first night to keep her separate from my adult cat (who unfortunately died later that year). Chloe was about nine weeks old, had been found on the street and was taken to a rescue organization from which I adopted her. I thought she was adorable when I saw her with the other kittens in a cage, and one of the attendants offered to let me hold her. Chloe immediately climbed from my arms to my shoulder, where she sat and purred in my ear, thus capturing my heart and ensuring her a forever home with me. To this day she is one of the best and smartest cats I’ve ever known. (This is a point-and-shoot capture, nothing fancy, uploaded for a challenge.)
