Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

This started as a simple farmers market capture of Rainier cherries in a plastic cup. I had a lot of fun playing with textures in Photoshop CS5 in an attempt to achieve the warmth of an old painting, and I ended up using bits and pieces of seven different textures (with lots of layers and masks). (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/8, 1/125 sec., ISO 250, open shade, handheld) All textures are from Leslie Nicole’s French Kiss Textures.

This is very much like a detail from an old oil painting. Very sensuous, too!

  • Thank you very much, Bette! It was the look of an old oil painting that I so wanted to achieve, as I thought it would suit the cherries.
