At a distance I spotted what looked to be a perfectly formed hydrangea cluster. Because there was no way to get close enough for macro work, I switched to my zoom lens to bring the flowers to me. To my delight, the blossoms were indeed perfect. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 70-300mm zoom at 133mm [266mm in full-frame 35mm equivalent], f/8, 1/250 sec., ISO 500, open shade, handheld)
