This is one of the heritage roses growing in the Rose Garden at The Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. It’s classified as a “found” rose (date of origin unknown) – specifically one of the so-called “Bermuda mystery roses” found in gardens on the island. I was taken with its old-fashioned simplicity. Unfortunately, this rose has no fragrance. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/11, 1/125 sec., ISO 320, open shade, handheld)
