This is one of the heritage roses growing in the Rose Garden at The Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. It’s classified as a “found” rose (date of origin unknown) – specifically one of the so-called “Bermuda mystery roses” found in gardens on the island. I was taken with its old-fashioned simplicity in white with the palest touches of pink. Unfortunately, this rose has no fragrance.
