Camellias are always part of spring blossoming in Southern California, and they seem especially beautiful this year. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/3.5, 1/200 sec., ISO 200, open shade, handheld, minimal processing and not cropped)
Celeste, this is so beautifully delicate and the lines and points formed by the petals are perfectly placed and serve to further emphasize the fragiity of the color and the lighting and your really excellent exposure for this tough image…nice and noise-free too….beautiful photograhy, Celeste.
Thank you very much, Katherine! These are always difficult, I agree. I was really fortunate to find a few perfect blossoms and spent quite a bit of time with them.
