Icelandic poppies are among the prettiest and most fragile of the spring flowers I typically see in my local botanical garden. I was fortunate to come upon this one shortly after it opened to the morning sun, as it was still fresh and undamaged. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/5.6, 1/125 sec., ISO 200, morning sun, handheld).
