This rose variety (the floribunda “Judy Garland”) is another of my favorites, even though catching blooms at their best is really difficult because the flowers seem to have such a brief lifespan. A few weeks ago, I couldn’t believe my good fortune when there were TWO really fine blossoms at the same time under soft lighting from an overcast sky. I explored every possible angle and f/stop, with this being one of the wide-open f/2 creations that I liked best. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/2, 1/3200 sec., ISO 200, overcast, handheld)
