The largest Surinam powderpuff tree at my local botanical garden was recently blooming beautifully. I was even able to find one bloom growing low enough that I could photograph it with my macro lens. No fancy processing, minimal crop to square format. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/11, 1/100 sec., ISO 250, open shade, handheld)
