Are you wondering what this is? You are looking deep into the heart of a yellow dahlia blossom. I tend to find small details, like this tiny cluster of petals, and fixate on them. I couldn’t quite decide whether the petals reminded me more of enthusiastic singers or baby birds waiting for parents to feed them, and so I chose a title that fit both concepts. Either way, I love the endless possibilities of isolated flower elements. (Olympus E-510 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/3.5, 1/250 sec., ISO 100, overcast skies, handheld)
