Waterlilies are few and far between in my usual photographic destinations, and so I was delighted to see one pink flower blooming in the small stream running through the children’s garden section of my local botanical garden. Late morning light was a bit bright but manageable. I love the soft pink of this against the dark background . . .lovely Celeste.

  • Thanks very much, Teresa! The textures helped a lot with the pink and bringing the dark background up a bit.

I love pink waterlillies but have never seen one here ,, just white and yellow .. lovely shot !
  • Thanks, Elaine. I’ve seen more white than any other color, but we do have some in various shades of pink.
