The bright yellow center of a vivid orange poppy, viewed from the inner petal edges. My lens was in the flower for this one, reminding me of a favorite quote from artist and educator, Katrin Eismann, “When I came home with dozens of files, I had to take a moment to clean the pollen off the lens and camera body, but not the smile on my face.” (Olympus E-510 & Zuiko 35mm macro, f/5, 1/160 sec., ISO 100, overcast, handheld)

These are such difficult colours to get right Celeste and you’ve done it so well here. Lovely work . . .
