I love cosmos flowers, probably because I’ve loved daisies of all kinds from the time I was a child, and this bi-colored cosmos variety is one of my top favorites. Not only are the colors beautiful, but the petals have a lilting, rhythmic grace that makes the flowers an ideal photographic subject. Wow, I thought you shot it in motion! What a beautiful sway and elegance this flower has! Beautifully done!

  • It’s the feeling of motion in the petals that I love in this particular cosmos variety. Thanks, Joanne!

This is so beautiful adore these flowers that dance in the wind and shine in the sun. My neighbour has some beautiful ones in her front garden i am hoping to capture them when the wind dies down.

  • Thank you, Karen. I will look forward to seeing yours!

Beautifully done, Celeste, and you conveyed the sway of those pretty petals… they are so vibrant outlined in that vivid pink as they are… Just a marvelous image, Celeste.

  • Thanks, Katherine! The pink edge makes these special, I think, as it really shows off the petal shape.

Love the beautiful wave pattern to these gorgeous petals, the shallow dof keeps the background from competing with the stunning flower.

  • Thank you, Christine! The texture also helps soften the background.

Oh wow, I love this!!! The petals actually DO seem to be dancing (I was going to say that before I even saw your title!), and they are also almost glowing…..They are graceful, beautiful, and full of life! :)))

  • Thank you, Laurie! I truly appreciate your enthusiastic response to this dancer in the garden. :)
