Festive gerberas by Celeste Mookherjee
While walking in the Belmont Shore section of Long Beach (California), I spotted these brightly colored gerbera daisies in a florist’s outdoor display. Rather than capture the entire bouquet, I moved in to emphasize the festive petal edges framing the center of another flower. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50m macro, f/4, 1/100 sec., ISO 500, shade, handheld)
