An image from a rainy morning at my local botanical garden: silvery foliage bearing bright rain droplets and flower buds that could be miniature tapestries. No flowers had bloomed yet, but I know this large patch of dusty miller and its purple flowers from previous years. Note that the popular name “dusty miller” applies to many plants and flowers, so I have included the botanical name in the tags. Note: This is not selective color! The silvery gray is the natural color of dusty miller foliage! (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/6.3, 1/160 sec., ISO 200, light rain/cloudy, handheld)
