The fuchsia garden at my local botanical garden is quiet and often especially beautiful in the early morning. One Sunday morning I spotted this perfect trio of ballerinas dancing in mid-air and moved around them until I found the most flattering angle. Ballet terminology always seems to me to suit fuchsias, thus my title (meaning a dance for three people). (Olympus E-510 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/4.5, 1/100 sec., ISO 200)

  • Thanks, Maggie. I love fuchsias, and they’re just getting started now for the season (this one is from last year).
