I am finding wonderfully photogenic daylilies at the moment. In addition to the pollen tips, just look at the wonderful curves at the base of the stamens on this one! (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/8, 1/125 sec., ISO 1000 in shade) Textures courtesy of Shadowhouse Creations

.. and only you could capture those curves swirled in gold… How very striking this is, Celeste. Your descriptions always convey your passion for your work and I enjoy them also very much. Your title could not be more fitting….

Have a wonderful long week-end, Celeste, and I hope you are doing well.

I’m so fed up with color issues I’m actually going to buy a formal calibrator tomorrow so I will be drowning in color calibration and profiles and I’m not so fond of those topics….

  • Thanks for your comment and fave, Katherine! Yes, I became quite excited over this find. :)

I hope the calibrator doesn’t consume too much of our time, but it’s an excellent investment in the quality of your work.

  • Thank you so much, Laurie! I really love photographing the centers of daylilies, most especially at this point t=when the pollen is just starting to appear.
