    Very emotional image Colleen

  • Hi Simone – on the Sunday I was still somewhat shell-shocked (my sister and kids were evacuated), and took many photos around where she lived (still lives). The fully impact had not hit me at that stage, it was all extremely surreal – I will never forget it. One of the things that stood out for me was how grey everything was – it was bizarre – and everything was so quiet. I’m glad you like this, sweetie – thank you :)

Amazing work here Colleen, this has an intriguing, eerie, almost surreal cinematic feel to it – can’t believe nearly a year has past, such a devastating time!

  • I know, it’s incredible that nearly a year has passed, and so devastating, indeed. And, yes, I was happy with how this image turned out like this, with its filmic (is that a word? lol) qualities. Thank you, sweetie :))
