She took a dumping that day, very nice capture
Bright light in the foreground is just perfect – nice one
Lovely sharp image. Great lighting.
Yeah, I remember cold days in Hobart with snow sitting on top like that. Great shot…
Thank you for checking out my photos. You can certainly feel the chill in the air when there’s snow up there, can’t you? cheers, cjc

Aha, this looks like Hampden Road. You’ve captured some of the reasons why I love my adopted home of Hobart so much here Chris. It’s mixture of natural beauty, built heritage and easy-going pace of life is just right. Easily the most liveable capital city in Australia, by a country mile. Thanks for sharing this.!Cheers,Brett
Thanks Brett. Yes, it is Hampden Road and at the time I was working in a building at the corner of Hampden and Sandy Bay Rd, so this shot was the result of nipping out quickly at morning tea. There certainly is a lot to like about Hobart. cheers cjc
Wonderful shot, wonderful location…
Thanks Greg. I decided that winter that I would get a shot of the mountain with a decent snow covering.
Congratulations! Your image has been featured in the Hobart Tasmania GroupThanks for adding your photograph to our group!
Thanks Brett and Greg. It’s great to be featured in your new group. cheers, cjc
Absolutely wonderful photo, and you’ve captured the essence of old Hobart … and the way i remember it growing up there. Mt. Wellington started it all for me, first place i saw snow and now i work in the ski industry!
Thanks. I like the old houses in Battery Point and I thought the snow covered mountain would make a good back drop. You’ve certainly traveled a long way from Hobart.
Very nice – does capture that elusive something! Good work.
Thank you, I appreciate you dropping by and commenting. cheers, cjc
