In Ramonafana park, Madagascar, there’s a hill on top of which a wooden platform provides a vista of the forest at our feet. On our way up (my guide and myself), we caught the attention of a little critter that followed us to the top: a beautiful, red-tailed mongoose that posed for me like a star.
My guide said I was lucky to have seen one. I’m not surprised ;)
