Blood Money T-Shirt

Blood Money

This image represents what a Canadian coin with the queen’s image would look like to a Coast Salish person using traditional Pacific Northwest coast native designs.
The coin is red to represent all the blood that has been spilled from the English monarchy in their world domination conquest of the past.
For the Queen I wanted to draw what the monarchy would represent to Coast Salish people for what they were responsible for the attempted cultural genocide, so I choose to draw her in the form of an evil witch like character that often appear in coast Salish stories. I also added some Christian symbols of evil demons with horns, sharp teeth and long tongue to show symbols of evil from their own Christian religion. I am not stating that this queen is evil but what the monarchy that she represents has been evil in the past to many different aboriginal nations around the world and now the descendants to this monarchy have acquired much wealth and celebrity like status from the blood and deaths of many people.
I have never heard of a reasonable reason as to why Canada would continue to use the monarchy as one of our main symbols. If Canada claims to be a multicultural country then it is time to find a symbol that represents all of us instead of a symbol that shows a dark past and only represents one culture.

Wonderful design. And I agree… Canada is not a multi cultural country, it is only interested in serving one culture.
