BACK OFF
Another of the wolves at Brookfield Zoo. This was taken through glass. This wolf had a bone it was chewing on, and another wolf was coming closer, and this one did not like that.
This was taken with a Canon 40D camera.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOT. HE’S JUST TELLING HIS PEN PARTNER TO LEAVE HIS LUNCH ALONE. I’LL BET THAT IF YOU SAT DOWN ON THE ROCKS NEXT TO HIM WHEN HE WASN’T EATING, YOU COULD GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO STROKE HIS COAT. WOLVES ARE GORGEOUS ANIMALS, I’VE HAD 4 HIGH CONTENT WOLF HYBRIDS EVER SINCE 1977. THE ONLY HYBRID I HAVE NOW, IS A LOW CONTENT TIMBER WOLF. HE IS 75% SIBERIAN HUSKY AND 25% TIMBER WOLF. THEY ALL HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITY AND THEY REALLY ARE FRIENDLY ANIMALS ONCE THEY LEARN TO TRUST YOU. LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD LIED. BOB

This is great. I been wanting to get back down to the Brookfield Zoo. None Shall Pass was taken at the zoo last year late fall. Most all animals were not around.
The wolf enclosure looks real nice but I did not see much the day I was there. It was near days end so I could not hang out too long. I want to get back there. I like the natural area they have.
cdudak
The best time to see the wolves, is just as the zoo opens, right at the beginning of the day. Thank you so much for your comments….Kay
