A Rare Look

You don’t get to see too many self portraits of me, mainly because I am typically behind the camera. While in Oregon a couple of weeks ago, we went to the coast to find some tide pools and just enjoy some time at the beach.

My nephew Zac is looking to become a professional photographer and has just graduated from the University of Oregon. He took this shot of me while I was setting up for a shot of the coast. This was taken with an old Russian film camera which Zac says he has had to take apart three or four times to fix. But I like this photo he took of me.
