I always reckon things happen for a reason….

…for those who’ve never seen my profile before, a BIG WELCOME to you and hope my ‘works’ are not too dull or boring. On saying that though, I am an amateur only, so deffinately NOT in the same league as most here, I just enjoy the interactions, occassional debates, the incredible variety of art and artists and the comraderary that I find and sure you’ll find here too. And of course I mustn’t forget the incredible array of art to peruse and comment on!

For those who have seen my works before but noticed a ‘lull’, I’ve been unwell. My 46th birthday (and almost Christmas) was spent in hospital and although I missed out on Cake and candles, did not miss out on sharing some celebrations with my family and good friends….

Since then, I’ve been recovering from the Triple By-Pass surgery I had which was actually not too painful or even life threatening! I always tell myself that things (life?) could be worse and because I’ve had no real ‘pain’- just discomfort – I consider myself exceptionally lucky! (Lucky also becuase my gorgeous heart surgeon visited me daily making my heart pump just that little bit quicker letting me know it IS still working! But don’t tell my partner! hahahahah

My last thoughts for you are to try and be happy, keep healthy and not be too hard on yourself if things here (and in the ‘outside’ world) are going a little slow.

…becuase everything happens for a reason!
Learn from and make the most of EVERY situation as life is too short!

Fare thee well my friends,

Smiles from Cobie :-)

Reinforces something I read recently about not dwelling on the past or even the future a…

….sometimes waffling on thinks it’s reaching out and touching someone BUT actually, it pushes them away… / Rather think I’m a bit like Eric Carle’s ‘The Bad Tempered Ladybird’; always thinking I’m a little better than I actually am. Hence, the ‘waffle’. Proof of this is the so called ‘ART’ I produce and share here without muc…

In recent years, I have listened to news reports in absolute amazement at the decimation nature is bestowing upon the Earth and ALL its inhabitants. I listened in total disbelief, only last Friday the 11th of March, 2011, of the Earthquake in Japan, followed soon after by a Tsunami. After two days of listening to report after report – nearly always the same – I became desensitized to the carnage …

A warm and friendly hello to all here on RB happening upon this journal entry of mine! / Some may have noticed I’vce been a ‘bit quiet’ lately and this is for a good reason as I’ve been on holiday! At one of Melbourne’s finest establishments actually; being pampered, going places I’ve never been, having a few ‘life changing experiences’, meeting man…
