Melbourne Skyscrapers "The Shadows in Between"
My Pentax K100D camera peered into the sky and captured darkness and light. The shadows in between two skyscrapers in Melbourne.

I take these kind of shots too. It’s a good one: the angle makes it for me. The right hand building looks like it’s far away but when you tilt your head it’s closest to the camera. It is a completely abstract shape/element.
On my screen the left hand bottom section is total black and then in a short space blends back into the building. It’s kind of like and inky fog.
My only reservation is the cropping across the top of the image. It looks a little to close to the two pointy bits on the left building top. But that’s just me. I like the crop to be not too close or too chop it off rather than quite close or nearly touching. Not sure why.
Celia Coulter replied
I think you could be right about the closeness of the closeness of the crop. Unfortunately that was the top end of the shot I didn’t do any editing on this one so I can’t try a wider one to see how it looks – alas.

Yes, that happens with mine sometimes. Either I didn’t notice or had trouble seeing the LCD screen. Mine is 1.6” and not that bright.
The image is still good though. Most people wouldn’t have noticed until I spoiled it for them…d’oh.

Hi – Great angle – it’s great to look up sometimes especially in a city. I work in London and get similar shots of some amazing buildings but find most people walk around looking down – they just don’t know what they are missing.
