White River In The RAW! by NatureGreeting Cards ©ccwri

Went out with my friend David, and He was giving me some pointers on shooting silky water, and this is one of my first attemps, and also shot this in RAW…both are proving to be fun! I am really excited about graduating from JPEG to RAW!! I hope to have both perfected by 2013, LOL! (Slow learner, ha!)

It sure looks cold, the water looks nice and silky, a nice feeling of movement! Dee

  • Much appreciated Dee, of course it would have looked much nice if i could have gotten this at a better angle, but was too cold to get me feet wet, LOL!!! THANK YOU!!

Lovely color, Carolyn… I think you will find shooting in RAW expands your already significant abilitiy…but just remember the RAW photos take up more memory on your card…..don’t learn that the hard way….

This is beautiful…I love shooting in RAW…so much of truer color and detail! Less rough edges! Keep them coming this is great!

Excellent, I like the strong colors. I have graduated to RAW some time ago and shoot every thing in RAW now. It is amazing how much you can do with an image in a RAW editor. HERE is one that works in your Gimp. I have installed it in my Gimp and it works well.

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH Byron!!! I really APPRECIATE you!!!! HUGZZZZZZZZZZ
