My old fashioned Tiger Lilies, back lit by the evening sun. I love how they hang upside down, and the pedal curl up and reach for the sky.

I wonder why it is called a tiger lilly……. It has spots and really ought to be a leopard lilly! Fab image tho’………

  • Yes I have wondered that myself, and is so true! So many things like that for instance the Purple Finch, is the stunning color of raspberry, at any rate it is red not purple LOL!! Thank Trev :)) Carolyn

Well!!…they left one for you for a picture.lol…..just had to kid you…great capture…..love the angle, colors, light and details….Susan

  • LOL!! Susan :)) This was taken in 2006 when I had some, and I had a GOOD dog that would keep the deer out of the yard. My buddy that I have now just looks at them and goes back to sleep! I love him, but for a working dog, he’s not worth his salt!
