Arkansas Barn in a very low setting sun….
Mulberry River Area, Arkansas…..

Okay…. i wish i could say this…. is as is…..but the lighting situation is the best ever for a bit of saturation of the colors,
which the low setting sun had already done a wonderful job with this scene already.
So I didn’t have to saturate the colors but just a few tweaks.
I love the rich, rich colors in the setting sun. I find I shoot this light more than the actual sunsets these daysz. :))

Just wish I had the knowledge to remove the powerlines with my GIMP 2, thats all I would change about this image :))
any pointers??

Wow, wonderful light on that red roof and the trees. I don’t know Gimp2 at all. Is there a cloning tool, or something that’s called repair? I cropped 4 lines of barbed wire out of my “The Panda Cow”. It took a little time, but it was worth the effort. Wish I could be of some help!

  • thanks Dot it does have a cloning tool, patients is a virture i lack all too often :)) there are video tuts on line….but my dial up and videos do not get alone at alll just sooooooooooo slooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww LOL! ………. it’s much easier for me to just make sure they are out of the picture, but in some cases as this one….they are there!! :)) Thanks so much :))

I think you could figure it out without tutorials - I did. Just make a copy of your picture to experiment with and give it a try. You might be able to find help within the program without going online. You can do it, you can do it……..:))

  • LOL! :)))))))))))) Thanks for all your incouragements :))))))
