This was a drive by shooting as my sister, and I were returning from our Thanksgiving dinner. This old barn has stood for many a seasons.
As an artist I love to give, and to see things in a new way, adding a little colorful surprise to the life of an object.
I think as children we were all artist in one way or another, and most still are only those talents are burried by a life that sometime tell us way to often that we can’t accomplish our talents, and dreams. So they were never really developed.
If I were to dust off those old brushes, I imagine this is how I would paint this old barn, but I thank God for the digital age, and lets face it, the paints are tons cheeper.. lol… and I have at my finger tips every color imaginable!
So those old brushes will just have to continue to be icons of days gone by. Much like this old barn.
I dedicate this digital image to my good friends Deb. and Marvin, and I hope you all enjoy it as well!
All comments, and constructive critism are welcome, and I want to say thanks so much to all of you for taking the time to view my work!
